The tents are set up in an open bungalow with private bathroom. So don’t share the toilet like on a real campsite. In each bathroom there is also a tree to save nature.

It is luxury camping and should therefore not really be called ‘camping’. The tent is already there, there is a sitting area, fan, bamboo bed with fresh linen, lights and WiFi Internet. These tents are also high enough to stand up and walk.

This small friendly resort has six good orange bungalows, six special tent houses, a reception and a restaurant directly on the beach. In the high season is not much discount possible for long stay of a month but the price does include electricity, water, internet and cleaning.

There are no cars on this island and electricity is also limited, for example the electricity goes out after midnight. Koh Payam island has managed to retain its green ‘natural’ character. To get to Koh Payam island, take the boat from Rayong. The normal boat takes two hours and the speed boat only thirty minutes. Arriving at the pier there are various moped taxis ready to take you to the “Payam Beach Resort”.

Tip: A bungalow on Koh Payam island is easy to find in the off season. Cheap too! But if you come to ‘hibernate’ then it is wiser to make a reservation at our organization. Last high season there were too many winterers who wanted a bungalow on Koh Payam, which meant that people had to search for a long time without a reservation until they had accommodation.

The check-in time at the Beach Resort on Koh Payam is after 2:00 PM. If you expect to arrive late, for example in the evening, please let us know in advance. You must show a passport or identity card with the name of the reservation at check-in.
