This coastal city Bankrut has many beach resorts but our resort probably has the best location of all. You are in fact within walking distance of the seven-eleven and other shops. Because not much happens in Bankrut, it is nice to have a central location. You can easily walk to the Siriporn Guesthouse where you can do your shopping or order at the cocktail bar.

Cons: Bed small made for Thai people at 5'10 I was not comfortable, felt like military cot. Also they use body pillows... for the head pillows so unless you like to sleep sitting up not nice. WiFi did not reach guest house, toilet poor flushing and shower floor tilted away from drain and flooded bathroom floor...poor water pressure. Place was ice maybe 20 years ago.Don't pay for stay in advance as refunds are a challenge prepare to have.Pro: Some polite staff, by the ocean and nice landscaped property...I recomend backpacker property or main large hotel in town...read more

Well, I would recommend to avoid this place, especially to families. It's one of the most expensive resorts, with... extremely unfriendly and useless staff (they smiling but doing opposite of what they asked).Don't like to wright negative reviews, but this place is something. Visited it 3 days in a row, being Prentiss customer, but didn't managed to rent accommodation. 1 day, they say that there was nothing suitable for us2 day (found on Airbnb, that they have 2 bedroom house for rent available for 12 000 batt) they said, that they have that house, but for 28000 batt. Shocked lived the place3 day decided to stay there for 28000, but they said that we have to pay more than 40000, as we have 2 little children (even if they sleep with us)read more

I just love Baan Krut! Step back to a time when you would count the minutes between vehicles, the only foot prints on... the beach are yours and the sound of waves are your biggest disturbance. This wonderful one road beach town is like Thailand of 30 years ago except the accommodations have kept up the the times!We have stayed at several of the hotels up and down the beach but always seem to return Suan Ban Krut. The bungalows are clean, will appointed and spaced apart far enough so the you are not looking into your neighbors window. We have stayed at several different bungalows within the resort and the high standards are maintained throughout.read more
