Join our Kanchanaburi excursion amd step in the footsteps of Queen Beatrix and Prince Willem-Alexander in the town of Kanchanaburi (Thai: กาญจนบุรี) The town is the capital of the province of Kanchanaburi and lies at the confluence of the River Khwae where the Second World War burg can be viewed. During the construction of the bridge during the Second World War as part of the rail link between Burma and Thailand by the Japanese, many forced laborers were killed, including Dutchmen. During the Excursion you go to a museum and to the military cemetery where many Dutch KNIL soldiers are buried.

Short stop in Ratchaburi, stretch your legs and see nice big ones.
