Stay at Payam strand resort if you are looking for a good bungalow on Koh Payam island. This friendly resort on Ao Yai beach has orange bungalows, made of cement, with spacious verandas, where you can enjoy the sounds of the island.

   

The bedroom is large and has a seating area. This friendly family, who had this resort built, spared as many trees as possible so the bathroom was built around the tree.

This small friendly resort has six good orange bungalows, six special tents with separate seating areas and separate private bathrooms, a reception and a restaurant directly on the beach. In the high season is not much discount possible for long stay of a month but the price does include electricity, water, internet and cleaning.

On this island there are no cars and electricity is also limited, the power goes out after midnight for example. Koh Payam island has managed to retain its green ‘natural’ character. To get to Koh Payam island, take the boat from Rayong. The normal boat takes two hours and the speed boat only thirty minutes. Arriving at the pier there are various moped taxies ready to take you to the “Payam Beach Resort”.

Tip: A bungalow on Koh Payam island is easy to find in the low season. Cheap too! But if you come to ‘enjoy a holiday’ then it is wiser to make a reservation at our organization. Last high season it was fully booked, which meant that walk-ins had to stay in temporary small tents and that is a lot less comfortable.
