From April 2022, Thailand Pass will operate to enter the country. How does it work? The rules for visiting Thailand have improved significantly. The Thailand Pass is now mandatory in May 2022, but fully vaccinated travelers are not required to testanymore. Good news🎉!
Requirements for the Thailand Pass QR code
- Insurance against Covid.
On the website you can choose from different packages that you can pay online with, for example, a credit card. The cheapest insurance option costs 650 Baht and is valid for 30 days.
- Your vaccination certificates (shot 1 and 2) are required.
You can easily download your 2 vaccination certificates, vaccination 1 and 2, with your DIGID from the your govermental website, in The Netherlands we usecoronacheck.nl. You need to convert the pdf to an image, for example jpg, in order to upload it on the Thailandpass website. Too bad the PDF version option wasn’t just added.
- A hotel booking for 1 night is also required. You can book these in, for example, securely via the Agoda website. Please note that you select a “SHA hotel” with PCR test.
