Budget friendly buys here! Compared to other floating markets it is much cheaper here. We also had a good massage in... this market. A much needed foot massage from all the walking. We availed of a tour from Klook to get to the market.lees meer
Best and most authentic floating market I've been so far! More touristic than a couple years ago but still a nice place... for having food, beers or just buying useful and not so useful stuff 🙂lees meer
Very organized market. Came with a tour but we had 2 hours of free time to do whatever. We chilled in a cafe! Very nice... experience. There's restaurants and Cafes where you can eat on the boat too! The locals here very hardworking which i really respect and admire. You can get a boat ride to see the rest of the river. And at night there's fireflies!lees meer
Still rather touristy, but good enough to spend at least two hours to get the feeling of it. Don't expect any seller... really riding on boat though, apparently they don't do that anymore, but you can pay 50b each peraon or 500b to chartered a mini yacht to circle around the river outside of the floating market, which is about an hour long and quite boring really, it never stop and no one will explain the surrounding, but it always sound better to ride with one to say you have been to the floating market, given if you have time. The shops on the riverside are more or less the same, but again the mood is good and they are indeed some nice photo spot.lees meer
Lots of small shops to buy really good sea food. The prices are all pretty good too. Not nearly as many shops selling... souvenirs or clothes as in the past. All the shops selling the handmade cotton shirts and pants are selling the same things. In the past several shops had their own unique style, now every shop is the same.lees meer
A bunch of very friendly and generally happy vendors selling a huge variety of foods, snacks and touristy items plus... the actual vendors on boats. There is certainly something for everyone to eat or snack on, with most vendors offering free testing of their eats. If you come hungry, you will leave quite satisfied.Parking is a challenge but squeezing into any available spot appears acceptable. Otherwise use the parking touts who will require a small paymentlees meer
Nice Market with many boats and a Lot of possibilities to eat. We were a Bit overwhelmed by the offer...Important:-... Market is only on the weekend- you rarely find ToiletsI think its worth to visit and recommend you to also make a boat Tour (e.g. to the Fall was market).lees meer
It is a must visit for Bangkok. Make sure to wait and visit evening also. The shop will be closed in the evening but... the boats will take you for Firefly spotting. Which is good. You can get many dessert items in the market. The chocolates and the souvenirs are really cheap in this market.we loved the 20 baht keychains.lees meer
Totally new for me. I have never seen such a thing. A lot of stores there you can shop souvenirs while sitting in the... boat. Also a lot of other boats offer food. Some just one type of food. We had some thy food which was tasty but hot spicy. The water was not clean because many of the shops there put their garbage in it. They are building other stores as well. It is not really what it was traditionally but the same pattern. Most of the shops offering the same stuff . Seems one distributer has put some products in all of the shops .lees meer
The Ultimate Food-Trip! With everything from juices, fresh fruit, and milk based drinks, to meats, seafood, and a... plethora of local desserts and sweets. Truly a foodie paradise.Expect it to be busy, with a combination of locals and tourists. Most items on sale are well priced, making for an affordable experience. In addition to food there are clothes, hand made accessories, souvenirs, and more.Much of the market can be covered on foot, but also has water based sections, wherein you can order and eat food from the boats. There is also a boat ride available; the highlight being to take it after sunset to be able to see the fireflies. The Amphawa police station serves as a Landmark and also has restrooms for tourists.lees meer
The evening is alive with the bustling of the market. As a visitor, I love the lights and actions and the novelty of... Thai culture (street food, smiles and bargaining). Remember to visit the fireflies... I am surprise with the sightings too.lees meer
Adorable market on the river. You can take a boat ride for 50 baht per person, or it’s 500 baht to rent the entire... thing. Temple and nature boat tours that last 30-45min. If you grab taxi out there, beware that Grab won’t take you back. There’s bus (70baht per person) and taxi services (1500 per van for 6 people) near the bridge you can take back to Bangkok.lees meer
Very interesting place with cool atmosphere. Loads of tourist shops and little cafes. I imagined there would be more... people selling from their boats, but maybe we came in the wrong day.. 🙂 Boat tour was fun.lees meer
This was a really good experience. However, I completely misunderstood what I was going to experience and see. If you... think your shopping on boats and getting food from boat to boat that's not the case. I still think it's worth seeing and honestly enjoyed my time. It's about 1-1.5 hours away for most people in the Bangkok area. Enjoy!lees meer
Appreciated to see and learn about local people's lives and historical stories. A lot of events are displayed and told... folkways. Many tourists and foreigners are pleased to join those events.lees meer
I went there today and the restaurant was so over priced, this floating market is not far away from seafood market,... where they can get the cheap price of seafood and one thing that made me felt so disappointed was we’ve waited for the food so long and what we got was so less and tasted suck T_T I’ve never eaten something that I was so regretted like this before. Anyway there are many shops that has the cheap price of clothes, candy, drinks, etc.lees meer
